Big news!
I've been sitting on this news for the better part of a year and I'm so excited to finally share it! I've written and re-written clever ways to share the news, so no gimmicks, I'm just going to say it!
We're moving to Nashville, Tennessee!
Okay, now that it's finally out there, I'll give the back story.
I love Lynchburg. It's been my second home! It has evolved from the scary town that beckoned me for school to the place I started my family, and I couldn't be more grateful for the relationships I've made along the way! 2016 was a huge year for my business, and that's only because of the amazing clients and vendors that I've met in this town, whether that's from styled shoots, the Lynchburg Rising Tide Society chapter with Tuesdays Together, or from second shooting with absolutely amazing photographers.
I'm definitely feeling the growing pains that come along with leaving a town that's been home for 7 years. Right after I graduated, Lynchburg looked like a place that I was stuck in, and I had no idea when I would ever be able to leave it. But like anything, I've learned that Lynchburg is what you make it. I'm sad to leave my families at the Liberty University in the Marketing Department, and Brentwood Church.
I wanted to wrap this blog post up with thankfulness. The ways the Lord has provided for us in Lynchburg is astounding, and I wish I had written down all the small and big ways that we have felt His hand over us in this decision to move. There are still a lot of uncertainty's ahead as we move 500 miles away, but I'm so grateful for my husband and the ways he has unconditionally supported me when I've felt so discouraged. And of course I'm thankful for how supportive our families have been with us leaving a perfectly comfortable situation and moving west to chase our dreams.
It may be a while before my next blog post, but that's not for lack of content. Be sure to keep an ear to social media for more information about our move! Until then, enjoy some photos from our trip to Nashville in November for the Process Workshop! I hope I get to shoot at Cedarwood again really soon!
